In addition to leaving a lasting legacy, planned gift options provide you with opportunities for income tax, capital gains tax and/or estate tax advantages, including charitable income tax deductions, avoidance or deferral of capital gains taxes, and a reduction or elimination of estate taxes. Many gifts also offer the opportunity for you to meet your immediate and ongoing needs for increased, secure, fixed income.
Donors who make planned gifts to Scripps Health are invited to join Scripps Heritage Circle or Mercy McAuley Heritage Circle (for those who wish to direct their gifts to Scripps Mercy Hospital). These recognition groups are one of the ways we honor and thank those who have committed to supporting lifesaving care at Scripps Health.
Members enjoy invitations to Distinguished Speaker Series presentations and other events throughout the year, including our annual Heritage Circle luncheon, and receive subscriptions to Scripps Health Foundation publications which highlight the latest medical breakthroughs and lifesaving care at Scripps Health.
